Manish thinks like a business head, not just a finance professional. He uses numbers to drive decisions, not just report them.
With deep experience across hospitality and international markets, he has built and stabilised finance functions while enabling growth through capital strategy, governance, and systems.
As CFO of Sterling Holidays, he strengthened the finance function and drove the adoption of technology to streamline operations, including the introduction of business dashboards for performance tracking.
During his time at FASSCO, he implemented ERP systems and supported business growth by securing key clients in the healthcare sector.
At Ginger Hotels, where he served as CFO for over five years, he raised capital through private equity and bank debt to support expansion. As part of the senior leadership team, he contributed to the company’s turnaround, achieving its first positive PBT in FY 2013–14.
He has also been closely involved in corporate governance, board processes, and strategic decision-making, including growth planning, risk management, project feasibility, and statutory compliance.
Manish is a recipient of the Taj Business Excellence Award for the best finance team at Taj Exotica Resort & Spa.
Based in Hyderabad, he is a Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary, and a member of ICSA (UK), enabling him to practise across Commonwealth countries. He has also completed executive programs at the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad, and the Tata Management Training Centre, Pune.
Shishir Mathur
Managing Partner, Revenue & Growth
Shishir builds hotel businesses, not just hotels. He works at the intersection of operators, brands, and owners to turn ideas into scalable hospitality platforms.
Over 25+ years, he has built and scaled businesses across telecom and hospitality, with the last 15+ years focused on hotel development, growth strategy, and asset creation.
His experience cuts across three distinct lenses within the hospitality ecosystem. On the operator side, with Ginger Hotels, he led regional operations with full P&L responsibility and later headed national business development, contributing to an expansion strategy targeting 100+ hotels.
He has also led international brand entry as Chief Development Officer for MEININGER Hotels in South Asia, where he built the market entry strategy and development platform for the brand.
As Managing Partner at Turnstone Hospitality LLP, he advises promoters and developers on feasibility, operator selection, deal structuring, and long-term asset strategy, with a clear focus on building sustainable and scalable hospitality ventures.
Across these roles, he has been involved in the development and structuring of 3,000+ hotel keys across multiple markets.
Based in Mumbai, Shishir holds an MBA from the Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, Pune, and a bachelor’s degree in science from Pune University. He has also completed executive programs at the Tata Management Training Centre, Pune.
Mohan Kumar PK

As MD & CEO of Ginger Hotels, he led a decisive turnaround, delivering the brand’s first positive PBT in FY 2013–14. He also played a key role in building the Gateway Hotels & Resorts portfolio to 35 properties, and was behind the creation of Karavalli, still regarded as one of India’s finest coastal cuisine restaurants
Across roles as Area Director, he has launched and scaled multiple luxury and upscale hotels for the Taj group, bringing both operational depth and expansion expertise. His career spans the full spectrum of hospitality, from operations to strategy, making him a rare end-to-end operator.
PKMK has also ventured into food innovation, conceptualising “Home Food by Homemakers”, a category-defining initiative that generated significant industry attention.
He currently serves on the board of Prestige Hospitality Ventures, and has previously been an Independent Director at Evolve Back Resorts and Principal Advisor to Ozone Hospitality. In addition to Turnstone Hospitality LLP, he is a founding partner at Perfect Balance Global LLP.
Based in Bengaluru, PKMK is a graduate of the Institute of Hotel Management, Mumbai. He has completed the General Manager Program at Cornell University and was deputed to Seiler Hotels in Zermatt, Switzerland, to develop Taj’s mid-market hotel concept. He was also nominated for the Strategic Leadership Development Program at Harvard University.
Shivdas T

Shivdas has quietly powered the technology backbone behind some of India’s most scaled hospitality platforms. He doesn’t just implement systems, he makes them work for the business.
Over a career spanning decades, he has led large-scale technology transformations across hospitality, driving efficiency, scalability, and operational control.
At Taj, he led the standardisation of core business systems across properties globally, covering reservations, revenue management, point of sale, HR, finance, guest satisfaction, and loyalty. He was also instrumental in bringing global hospitality technology solutions such as Oracle Hospitality (formerly Micros Fidelio), IDeaS Revenue Solutions, and Indra into the Indian market.
At Ginger Hotels, he led the deployment of cloud computing, secure wide area networks, business continuity infrastructure, revenue management systems, channel management, OTA integrations, and payment gateway ecosystems, enabling the brand’s scale and standardisation.
He also led the technology transformation at TajSATS Air Catering, implementing an enterprise resource planning system, a first for the air catering sector in India.
As part of the senior leadership team at Ginger, he contributed to the company’s turnaround, culminating in its first positive PBT in FY 2013–14.
Shivdas is a recipient of the Business Excellence Award at Taj for implementing guest feedback systems, and the Business Leadership Award for Technology by Dataquest in 2013.
Based in Palakkad, he is a graduate in Physics, holds a diploma in systems programming and analysis, and has completed an executive management program from IIM Bangalore.

Prince Kumar

Prince started his tech journey in 2017 while pursuing his hospitality degree where he built ‘hmhub‘ out of the need to solve a big problem.
Having worked on 300+ projects, he has been helping businesses with solutions ranging from identity design and web development to search engine optimisation and social media management.
